South Kalimantan (Indonesian: Kalimantan Selatan often abbreviated to Kalsel) is a province of Indonesia. It is one of four Indonesian provinces in Kalimantan - the Indonesian part of the island of Borneo. The provincial capital is Banjarmasin. The province has a population of 2.97 million (As of 2000 census).

The Indonesian part of Borneo is known as Kalimantan and consists of the provinces of: Kalimantan Selatan; Kalimantan Barat; Kalimantan Tengah and Kalimantan Timur.
