Nesta página mostramos um pouco do Parque Nacional de Pacaás Novos. Fotos e uma breve descrição. Belo e quase inacessível, é ainda praticamente virgem e contém a reserva indígena Uru Eu Wau Wau. Constitui uma Unidade de Conservação Ambiental, sob administração do IBAMA. Na serra nascem vários dos rios que alimentam as principais bacias hidrográficas do estado, como as do Guaporé-Mamoré, Madeira e Machado. As fotos são todas da autoria de Luis Claudio Fernandes. Foram obtidas de um helicóptero, ainda a forma mais prática de acesso ao Parque. Obs: A transferência poderá ser lenta, devido a quantidade de imagens.

This life includes a huge variety of faunaand flora: e.g. monkeys, peccanies, agoutis, armadillos, sloths, macaws, parrots, river dolphins,reptiles, butterflies, orchids, bromeliads, palms, hardwood trees, vines etc. There is also anobservation tower which is 20 mts high.
